Nothing you send runs as it is: a tip is a lead, and we check every claim against primary sources before a word is published. Tips and corrections do not need your name or email; include one if you want a reply.

Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, point to the source that shows it. We check the claim against the cited documents, fix the story if it is wrong, and note the outcome on the story either way.
